We had a tornado when it first got warm out, lol. And the NWS didn't even issue a warning... I think we MAY have had a watch. It caught them off guard.

I remember hearing something about that. My Mom lives in Cedar Springs, just north of GR.

Synn, Just make yourself one of my famous signs...

    NO COFFEE
    NO WORKEE

Then make a fort. A big one. Don't come out until they agree to your terms. Chocolate, coffee, nap. That's it. Good luck.

Synn, I have nutella, I am sending it to you with my mind, is it there?

Hi all, how are you this fine Friday? The kids have the day off school, teachers are meeting to talk about goodness knows what. The snow is still here, the snow fort is still standing and camping is at least a good month or more away.

My favorite place to camp, Penticton, British Columbia. Beach, sand, sun and mountains, you can't go wrong. We've been going there since I was 4 years old, and we plan on going again this year, if we can afford it. Next year we're planning to go to Germany, I miss my relatives and Germany. I can't wait.

Ooo... send me some Nutella, too! :) I adore that stuff. I had never tried it until I found it in an import store in China... go figure! It was like Heaven had come to Beijing! :)

Love nutella, nutella is heaven in a bottle, it really is. I sneak a spoonful once in a while, but the kids caught me at it yesterday so I had to share. Sigh, I need to buy three bottles at a time. ;)

Hee, hee, I've seen allot about translating sanskrit on this site, I don't get it either. What's the fascination? To each their own I guess.

Thumper is once again trying to dig a hole to China, funny bunny. :)

    Giggle, good one Resty.

Thumper, do you want Nutella? Hay? Rabbit kibble? A hug? Oooooh, it's a hug he wants. Happy to oblige. Not many things beat a bunny hug. :)

You know... every time you mention Thumper, I get these happy memories of being a kid at my Grandparents house.

Every summer, from the time I was six to about 13, I spent two weeks with my grandparents in Indianapolis... all by myself. My parents put me on a plane in Detroit, half hour later, my Grandma and Papa picked me up in Indy. Two glorious weeks at the Club, by the pool, limitless hot dogs and bomb pops with Papa's club account number, and "making friends" by the slide. It was great...

Every summer, one of the highlights was Thumper. He was this little wild brown bunny that lived in their backyard... I always thought that he was a bunny blessed with the gift of longevity, lasting years and years, but as I grew up, I realized that there were many Thumpers... lol...

The Easter Bunny's name is Thumper, in case you were wondering.

*sigh* The good ol' days of childhood... even today, I see a bunny and he's automatically Thumper.

Post the link HC, I'll check it out.

Hey Starby, read back to find out about the doctors appointment. I don't want to rehash, it will just make me angry all over again. :(

How are you Starby, any exciting plans for the weekend? :)

Egad, is it sad that I recognize all of those? :)

Hey all, my cousin joined the site, the one that's going through a divorce. I'm so glad that she came here for advice, I hope she gets some good legal advice, things are starting to get ugly between her and soon to be ex-hubby. She's going through h@ll, it's not fair.

I'm sure she will too. She's in a bad place right now, her hubby is being a big time jerk. She's feeling pretty lost right now, and I don't know what to do for her. All I can do is listen and try to make her smile. I feel so bad for her, no one should have to go through this. Sad.

Okay, happy conversation starts now. Someone tell me a joke or something, I need it.

I'll read back Alty. Are you all right though? I need to run for awhile, but just wanted to check in because I saw that your eyes were hurting so bad yesterday. We'll talk more when I have more time to sit and catch up.

I think I'll take Chicky advice and put up a sign on my door. Why do crazy people seem to like me so much?? LOL! Is it because they think I'm crazy too?. or do I calm down their craziness? Hahaha! Whichever it is... they throw my whole day off!

I read the movie quotes Chicky, now I'm feeling old! I got a lot of them... but the ones that I knew dead on, were all the oldies. Bogart, Connery... all of those sexy men ::hehe::
I have a bunch of old movie songs in my head now... and even though not from a movie... I really want to hear the song "key largo" by Bertie Higgins... ::humming::
