I really want o have sex with the boy I've been with for a year now and we have come to trust each other enough to do this. The onlt thing is, I'm very nervous all of my friends tell me it hurts reall really really bad to do it for the first time I want to soi get the pain over with and enjoy it , but I need to know what to expect when I do have sex for the first time!:)

Ok how old is the boy? Are you sure you're ready for sex? Sex comes with responsibility.. whenever you have sex (even protected sex) you run the risk of getting pregnant and at 17 I wouldn't think that financially you would be able to afford a child, even emotionally.

I agree with plonak, that at your age you really need to consider all of the possible consequences. The "discomfort" that you feel the first time is temporary but you should be with someone that you can trust to be gentle and take his time with you. But again--- I say that I think you should wait because you don't seem ready for this experience. Because my dear, sex is not something that you should go into with the thought of "I so want to get this over with".

Hey, me and my boyfriend have been dating for like a year too, and we've been discusing about having sex as well, seeing as how he is already expirenced in this category, I'm still a vergin on the other hand. I am also very nervous about this, because I have also heard it hurts, but I doubt it hurts as much as people says it does, apparently it hurt just to get his penis inside you, and then it feels good, or it might hurt for a while, sorry I can't help much, I really hope everything goes right for your first time though, I'm sure you'll enjoy it no matter what the outcome :)

Although I agree with the above advice... I have a 15 year old brother... so I know it's not going to stop anything if you've already made up your mind.

You have to go slow... foreplay is important. If it hurts a lot, then stop. Be sure to use protection... use one that has a lubricant on it.

Let me remind you that the pain of having intercourse for the first time is not nearly as bad as the pain of delivering a baby.

This is what you risk if you are going to have sex. That pain is a whole lot worse and lasts a LOT longer.

All of you are totally right and thought all of that over and over a thousand times and I will a thousand times more until I know for a fact that I'm ready for that.
I'm aware of the consiquences.
I'm not a child.
And I'm not dumb.

And I also want to know how long the pain last?
Anyone want to share experiences?

Everyone's experiences will be different. The pain is different for everyone. Some gals here said it never hurt them, while other girls said it hurt for days afterwards.

Pain is subjective and different for everyone.

Yes, you are a child, you are only 17, if you want to talk semantics, you are a teenager, you are by no means an adult yet.

No one ever called you dumb, but having sex when you are not prepared for the possible life long consequences is not a good decision.

I don't think it really hurts THAT bad as to where you have to think about it for days.. just tell him to stop if it hurts, the more you do it the better it gets

When you are truly ready you will not be concerned about the pain so when that time comes then you will be ready. Until then maybe it is just a way of letting you know you are not ready. When you are he should care enough to go slow so it doesn't hurt.

Also, I want to add something to what I said before,. If you aren't 100 percent shure about having sex, like if you can't think of a straight answer, your probably not ready.. you really need to be comfortable with the guy your with, trust him.. just make sure you are 100 percent positve you want to have sex before you do.. or else you might end up regreting and wishing you would have saved it for longer into the relationship or saved it for someone else..

Been there, done that so I can tell you yes, it hurts, but its not as bad as people say it is. The first two time it'll probably be uncomfertable, and PLEASE use a condom, we already have enough teen baby mamas out there. Just take it slow, and relax, when your tense, it won't happen. Trusst me. I tried it and I freaked out because it wouldn't go in. I hope you really are ready. Sex is a beautiful thing. And I hope it's the right guy. You'll love it [: just be responsible

I'm Only 15 But My Boyfriend Is 16 And To Me It Only Hurt For A Second. And It Eventually You Get Used To It. Or That's How My Sex Life Is. I Don't Enjoy It As Much As He Does But I Mean That's Just Me! And Always Use A Conom!
