    91 Honda civic won't start
91 Honda civic 1.5L turns but won't start. I would turn it and it would start sparatically but it would shut off. I tried starting fluid, removed spark plugs put gas down pistons and it still won't start. I am not getting any codes other than the initial "one' blink from the Ecu letting me know that it works. I do have a spark to all of the cylinders. Since then I replaced the dist. cap, igniter, coil spark plugs/wires, timing belt, (ensured the timing marks were aligned and the #1 piston was on top on the compression side) fuel pump/strainer injector O rings, new battery, main relay. I checked all of the connections and continuity to all of the important areas that have something in common with making the car start.I am leaning towards replacing the injectors and or the fuel pressure regulator not that I think that it would solve the problem but I guess at this point it wouldn't hurt. Your expertise sure would help.

Reset the ECM and test all under-dash fuses with a test light or multimeter. If the problem persists, I suspect internal distributor sensors (CKP, CYL, and TDC) are bad. Try substituting a new distributor housing. Be sure you can answer "Yes" to the 3 basic diagnostic questions, in Sections A and B, below:

Also, be sure to perform the K-Test on the ECM. This is not a fuel-related problem, in my opinion. With all of the good things that you have done, your Civic is close to starting.

My answer is yes to the basic questions in both A/B Thanks for your response.
