    Anxiety problems!
    Hey guys,

I get so anxious and worried sometimes. I take medication for it but I just started taking it and I don't think it's been in my system long enough to help me..

I always think the worst will happen, especially with my boyfriend. He has had so many bad things happen to him in the past few months that sometimes I just feel like I can't take another thing.. So when he doesn't get back to me (on the phone) for a couple hours, I worry and think the worse...

Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do or say to myself to stop freaking out so much? It's so annoying, I'm even shaking writing this!

I have the same thing happen to me. I use Bach's Rescue Remedy, for extra help when needed. It's sold over the counter at chemists and health shops. Within 5 minutes you are calm and relaxed. I swear by it! It comes in a spray and in drops. I also give it to my kids if they are nervous about something.

I have had terrible anxiety problems off and on throughout my life since I was six years old. It is a very unpleasant way to live, that's for sure.

From what you have said, I would say that you are addicted to your boyfriend. You have to work on being your own person, having personal strength. Start making a little progress one day at a time, and be sure to have a therapist helping you through this difficult time.

    Best wishes in 2008.

I'm male, 59 years old, exercise every other day for one hour on an elliptical trainer. I have an incredibly low resting pulse rate of only 45, and a resting BP of only 110/60. With numbers like these, you wouldn't think that I suffer from anxiety, but I do. I've tried listening to various CD...
