How do we get rid of him
My roommate and I are on a 6mo lease with a third person a male. But his tendencies are not only distrubing but gross. It's his personal hygene that has drawn our final straw. If he is late on rent... Causes us to receive eviction notices and has to pay the 5$ a day fee or borrow the money fron us then not pay it back full then asks the next month to borrow more. And as of next month cannot afford to live with us or get his car reinsured since he failed to pay that and his share of the electric. Can we overpower him and have him removed from our lease?:confused:confused:

Chances are no. But this depends on the state that you all live in.

Are the three of you all on one lease, with the landlord, is so, all of you are resonsible for the entire amount, unless the lease says different.
So you and your roommate may sue your non paying person in perhaps small claims to try and get your money back after you pay the landlord
But this is one of the problems about being on one lease instead of each person having their own individual lease with the landlord

This is why roommates almost never work. I had nearly the same problem. I will never do it again.
