So I'm questioning whether I am pregnant or not ? The thought never really occurred to me until now since me and my boyfriend broke up and plus I've had "periods" if that's what you call it since then. However they were early, didn't last but like 4 days and had a brownish tent to it. I'm currently waiting on my period now and I am a little late. If I'm right about being pregnant I would be about 17 weeks . I haven't felt like myself in a long time . I'm always nauseous and feel like I'm going to throw up all the time especially in the morning but it comes about during the day. The heartburn is awful. And lately I've had a lot of gas and have been burping [ which I never did before ] . I have a heartache that will not go away, I'm hungry for everything. Few weeks ago I started getting a tingling sensation in my stomach which has now turn into a more harsh muscle tensing thump. I never have energy for anything. I don't have a scale at my house but a few weeks ago when I went to my doctor [ didn't mention anything to her because I wasn't sure + plus I was kind of scared being that I'm only seventeen years old and I thought maybe I was starting to get sick ] but I gained a good ten pounds and I haven't done anything different than usual ; I know I've racked a few more pounds since then . My rings are barely fitting on my fingers anymore . Oh yes and I have backaches . I took 3 hpt test but all showed negative. I have no clue what to do. I feel like I need to tell someone. I don't know how to tell anyone ? Or even if it's a possibility that I could still be pregnant and those test were wrong? But what's the odds ?

I think you should tell your doctor. It doesn't matter if you are 17 that is something you have to deal with and is no ones business. You should go to the doctor and get tested just in case you are you want to start getting your prenatal care for the baby. You can have a period and still be pregnant because every pregnancy is different. You have to also learn to accept the fact that you may be just in case and decide what you want to do far as you and the baby are concerned. If you are not pregnant you also want to get checked to make sure there are no underlying problems. Once you find out the first person I would tell is the father. Even though you are not together that does not mean he will not be there for the baby. So I advise you to go to your doctor and tell him/her what is going on with you so you will not continue to be so stressed out.

You need to get a complete check up through your doctor or specialist. This way you can stop second guessing what is going on. As far as showing at 17 weeks, there are some women that do not show at all. Each women is different. There could be an underlying condition causing all these symptoms so it is best to get a completely checked over by a medical doctor. Then you will not be stressing out so much. Stress can also cause a lot of changes within your body too. Hope you get everything checked out.
