    Can I break my lease?
    Can I break the lease on our Florida rental since it's been 5 months and the landlords haven't fixed any of the problems with the house? They have also not removed any of their personal belongings from the house.

    You need to send the landlords a detailed statement of the repairs necessary and that they need to removed their belongings. Give them 30 days to do so. Advise them that if all the items are not taken care of then you will consider the lease void and you free to move.

    Send this via certified mail.
