    How to save taxes in US
    Thanks Mukta!

    I will be working in Miami Florida and in L1B visa in for the next 3 years!

    I wanted to know that, is it possible that if I work in US but get paid from India to minimize taxes in US? If this is possible then how?

    In the U.S. you must report all the income. May be except for the first year of your arrival in the U.S. you will be resident for tax purpose, so you must declare worldwide income. When you are resident, even if you have income in India, you must declare in the U.S.

    You should go through the tax form to learn about what are the deductions available so that you don't miss any of them. In the first year, you can deduct moving expenses for the family. Read: Your U.S. Tax Return: Moving Expenses

    Florida is one of the few state that does not have state income tax; this is a big saving.
