I'll need to go buy a gauge--when I attach it what am I looking for? There's nothing about psi in my handy-help book :(
-
No... do I need to measure that somehow or could I just tighten the valve where the water enters the house and see?

It drastically slowed it down! I think I'll try again this evening.

My shower head is dripping. I've had the handle apart twice, replaced the seats/springs, replaced the handle/screw, put in a new "ball" (I don't know what that's called).
I get everything...

I wrote to Honeywell about the problem, and am posting their response:
Based on the information you have provided, the RTH230B is wired correctly. Please make sure the J2 jumper is set to the HG...

Okay--I get nothing. But without the green connected can the fan run at all? Or should I be looking instead of listening?
-
I haven't done that, because I know it's not the furnace. Now, however, I realize what you mean by "stat wire" (I was thinking that was a name for one of the wires, not part of the thermostat.). I'll...

I came home to work on this, and read your post. I don't think there could be a problem with the furnace or the wires, because the old thermostat works. If I have it wired correctly, it must be the...

Of course, you posted right after I re-connected the old one... I won't be able to try again until tomorrow afternoon. If I connect R and W, and the furnace doesn't start, what does that mean? If it...

The fan comes on (when set to "on").

We've only run the AC twice this year, went to turn it on Saturday with the latest heat wave and it didn't cool. I've cleaned the coils/fins on the outside unit, but have done nothing inside as of...

Just wanted to do a final follow up. I couldn't find a problem with the thermostat, and finally called in a technician because I got spooked that I was going to break the whole thing. The problem was...

I recently bought a headboard/footboard from a dealer, who only had two of the brackets. They are made to hook into the old board (single hook) and bolt onto a modern frame.
I've attached a photo...

I tried finding a picture before without any luck, and I unfortunately can't really tell from the book that came with it. I think I can figure it out without breaking it.
The link you posted is...

It's a:
Kenmore "Cold Spot"
Model 70102000
Series EK3134305

Yes, it's a frost-free. Is replacing this part something a wannabe DIYer could do?

Our refrigerator had been collecting water on the top shelf and not cooling well. In reading answers on this site, I found the blocked drain in the top of the fridge and cleared it. After turning it...
