Shane wiliams for Wales is far the best player,

John Eales from Australia was a great player as was George Gregan. Still playing I think Daniel Carter from NZ is a great player also.

Hardly to say who's the best. But based on position, here are my suggestion:
Prop: sheridan, hayman
Hooker: mealamu
Lock: chris jack, o'callaghan, matfield
Flanker: mc caw, lewis moody, martyn william, phil waugh
No 8: harindaquay, andy powell
Scrum halves: justin marshall, van der weshuizen,
Fly halves: dan carter, wilkinson, mehrtens (argh... to many of them to adore. Sorry dude!)
Centers: tana umaga, o'driscoll
Wings: habana, williams
Fullbacks: wales current fullback. Can't remember his name though!

Brian O Driscoll he is out standing he never gives up evan if he can't see

Best international team is NZ, therefore players like Dan Carter and Richie Mccaw are ranked very high in the RFU rankings. But the best playersd worldwide at the moment are coming from NZ, Australia, France and South Africa. I think some players to look at are:

Dan Carter
Richie Mccaw
Imonal Harinordoquy
Vincent Clerc

All of these players will show a god range of game play, and are experts on their position.
