It means that he/she has nothing to say, and prefers to quote a Bible verse to give his/her "nothing to say" with some seal of validity...

But REALLY Inthebox, I don't know what that means?

Cred it is sad that you cannot take a compliment.

Cozyk, my standing before God is righteous by my faith in Christ's death and resurrection, not by my good works. I did not earn salvation by "being good" or "perfect."

My good works are the result of His blessings and serve to glorify God, not myself. That is why I'm not getting into a look at what I've done contest with Cred. That would only try to glorify myself - pride.

Again Cred, that is great that you do these things, but what a greater joy it would be to have a relationship with God!

So by that theory you do not need to do any good works to get into your heaven?

Sorry Inthebox : I do not need your compliment. Nor do I want your compliment.
I do these activities for the purpose to HELP others who need my services.
And I provide these free services with pleasure, without any alternative reasons.
I do not try to "score" points to get in some non-existing "hereafter".
I do not try to fish for your or anyone else's compliments.

I reacted at one of your venomous posts here that questioned my personal position in life, and even suggested that I am a 'westerner' who has a great need for material possesions just as well. I don't.
Instead I - as a Humanist - prefer good social contacts, and have concern for the needs of others. Therefore I almost daily share my possessions and capacities with others in my life who really need them. Without any need for personal gain or (doubtful) compliments.
