I need no PROOF that you believe what you believe for I see it posted here.
So don't bother to ask me for proof about what I believe because you will not get it.
Example, I believe that God exists. I have all the proof I need for ME to believe that. It is a personal thing.
The proof that I have for me is for me.
It very likely would not mean much of anything for you.
For me to provide it would take a very lengthy post of several pages.
Since it would not effect or affect what you believe I would be wasting my time and yours to provide it.

    Fred

EXACTLY AND your post is about the Bible so why would anybody have to insist on the That is what you believe when you were not making a THIS IS fact post nor THIS IS fact statement!?

As I stated in my reply post #20 :

Of course Fred, of course! We should all be free to believe whatever suits us.

I neither need proof for what you believe, Fred. I know and respect what you believe.

If you state : "I believe that ..." , and follow up that with whatever you believe, I am fine with that, my friend. And you know that.

Fine with me. You may believe what ever you prefer.
But if you state "God exists" without "I believe that ..." you state a claim, an unsupported claim, which I may question if it is true. On that moment it is no longer what you believe, but what you claim.

Peace and kindness to you too, Fred

Questions: Who has not died yet?
    OR....
Who saw what Jesus mentions before they died?
What do you make of these verses and what they say?

To me, this means I need to let go of my expectations about how my life should be and live the way Jesus asks me to live. I need to set aside my own will and live for His will. I need to let go of what I want and embrace what God wants for me. Even when it is something that I want very desperately. I cannot live according to the ways of the world but must live according to the ways of the Word. I have to give up my desires and let God put new desires in my heart. I have to live a life that brings Glory and Honor to the One Who Saves Me. And when I do all that is commanded of me, I will be rewarded. The reward only comes on the end of the condition. God's promises are always "if you...then I." He wants something from us. Our love and obedience.
