What do I get my boyfriend of two years for his birthday?
I've been going out with my guy for 2 years now, and his birthday's coming around! Whenever I ask him what he wants he says nothing so he's really no help at all. I'm obviously going to get him something but I don't know what. I'm not very creative and I don't really have enough time to make him anything handmade. He plays basketball, watches hockey, and well just about every sport.

The fact that you've been with him for 2 years and can't think of something to get him raises a flag.

How are we supposed to know either?

Does he go around saying I'd like that or oh I'd like this? Does he have friends? Try them.

Other than that we don't know him, so you won't find a good gift idea from us.

Bake him his favorite cookies or caramel brownies. (I have some great recipes.)

I'll put it here. It's the Nestle recipe which I have tweaked. --

    Ingredients

1 pkg. (18.25 oz.) German chocolate cake mix
1 cup pecan halves (or more, if you like nuts)
1 cup CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, divided
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
    35 (10-oz. pkg.) caramels, unwrapped
    2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

    Directions

    PREHEAT oven to 350° F.

COMBINE cake mix, 2/3 cup evaporated milk, and melted butter (batter will be thick). Spread half of batter into ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

    BAKE for 15 minutes.

HEAT caramels and remaining evaporated milk in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until caramels are melted. Sprinkle chocolate morsels and pecan halves over partially baked brownie base; drizzle with caramel mixture. (The order you do this isn't important.)

GLOP remaining batter over caramel mixture for a top brownie layer.

BAKE for 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.
