    What does this mean?
    Hello everybody!

It's my first time in this website and I'm looking forward to help you solve/be solved all the problems that can be solved. :)

    So, my question is this:

I'm an 18-year-old guy and I've been facing this thoughts recently.

The last time I was in a relationship was in October 2007. The relationship got to a complicated situation, in which she cheated on me which led to the break up. It took a while to recover but I got over it some time later.
After that, and since that relationship didn't work, I decided to stay alone.

Recently, I've been facing some troubles in collage and sometimes I try to solve they by myself. Sure I have friends and family to help me/talk to me but it's not the same as a girlfriend. So I've been facing thoughts of wanting to be in a relationship. Somehow I think that having a girlfriend would help me a lot. But the problem is, I don't see (for now) someone that I wanted to be in a relationship with. I have no problem of meeting girls. In fact, as my friends say, I'm a womanizer. Sometimes girls do embaracing things to get my attention. The problem is that I want a girl that puts up a fight, not a girl who offers herself. I want a girl that I can ask her to a date, not one that only wants sex. But lately, those girls seem like they have... disappeard.

What do you guys think? I should wait for the right girl to be in a relationship with? Trust me, I really want to settle down but at the same time, I don't want to end up in a relationship like the last one

Thanks for the help! Sorry if sometimes its hard to understand what I wrote but English is not my first language :)

Wait for the right girl that you really dig, and who digs you in return, and shares similar morals.

One of the worst things anyone can do is rush into a relationship, especially when they don't even really like the person.

Maybe try older woman? At least ones who are in their later years of university/college, who have more of a direction.

Try approaching a girl instead of looking at the girls who approach you.

I've really consider that idea but at this age, the differences between a (for example) 24 year-old girl and a 18-year-old are many. One is a established grown up and the other one is a "newbie" (I think you got my point :P)

Well the minimum age of a university/college graduate is 22. So I was thinking more 20-22 age group. It doesn't have to be a girlfriend, it could even just be a friend. You just need to meet people who have a sense of direction in life who can help guide you.

You should also try seeing some counsellors or academic advisors for your schooling needs and future career opportunities.

For a potential girlfriend, you need to find someone who you have feelings for, not someone who can help you out.
