My advice for this is really short, don't take contact with him anymore because this will only make it harder for you and you'll feel stupid for recontacting him or even worse: dating him again. Unless you have an open relationship (where everyone does what he wants) it's really impossible to feel good with a partner that has already cheated on you, it's just asking for trouble and pain. Go on with your life and meet people or talk to people you already know, social contact is the best way to forget and get over such things of life.

Well, you caught him in the act red-handed. Now you've got the power to not call him and have nothing more to do with him. Let him suffer the consequence of losing you. He's not worth it and there are plenty of decent, respectable guys out there.

Examine all the reasons he is now your "ex." It sounds like you were only hurting yourself by providing him with "wake-up calls." It sounds like he has moved on and you should too. Life is too short.
