    The perfect boyfriend gift
Hi! My boyfriend's birthday is coming and I have no ideas of what I should give him. He is the kind of romantic, he likes theatre, culture and is keen on snooker and pool. I want to be something original, something handmade, unusual. Something that cannot be forgotten. I used to buy him books that I knew he would enjoy, but this time I ran out of ideas and I want something different.

What is your talent, or something you're good at you could use to give him a gift?
Write/play him a song, or record him that song? Even a mixed tape of his favourite tunes is the old indie romantic way of saying I love you... Accompanied with a long romantic love note?
Maybe you can paint, or draw? Paint him something to fit perfectly on a wall in his place, he'll see it everyday and think of you... or even draw and frame something on paper? A pool related piece of art? If you can't do the artsy thing.. find a friend you could commission to create this art for you?
Once a friend painted me something for my birthday and wrote out the best birthday wish I have ever read on the back of the canvas. I have it up in my place to this day! Wouldn't give that one up, so much sentimental value and something I wouldn't forget.
Take him to his favourite play, see if you can swing backstage passes... or get in contact with his favourite local actor, see if you can get a picture with them in costume after a show you guys go too, and get that framed!
Haha now I'm spouting off ideas... Good luck though! :)

If he likes pool then how about making him more official by buying him his own personalized (maybe with his name imprinted on the pool stick) pool stick?

Or, you can also just invite him to the movies, but most importantly of all just act loving enough for him to feel it on his birthday, and distant enough for him to enjoy it in case he also does want to do something with other friends/family.

    Good Luck,

    Javi
