    Moving On songs.suggestions anyone/?
I've been listening to music lately to keep me distracted and I avoid depressing music like those with theme of regrets, wanting you back, still loving you, I'm not over you or something...

I want to ask for moving on songs... that encourages you and affirms that he's not the one and it wasn't meant to be... and I'll be fine and I'll still find someone and I'm still beautiful :)

You can post the lyrics please

    Go On Girl - Ne-yo

Not a feeing in my chest
Baby I am feeling no stress
I'm to fly to be depressed

Get Brazilian music... Even though you may not understand the lyrics (or maybe you do :) there is something soothing about the Brazilian language... very beautiful.

Bebel Gilberto has cd's in both Brazilian and English.

    :)

Wow, I've got a bunch for you...

Not sure if this is your type of music but:

Three Days Grace - Gone Forever
    "I feel so much better
    Now that you're gone forever
I tell myself that I don't miss you at all"

    Breaking Benjamin - Had Enough
"When all is said and done,
I will be the one, to leave you in your misery
    and hate what you've become"

    Crossfade - No Giving Up
    "There's no giving up now
Do you really want to give this all away
Can't you ever see things in a different way"

I've got tons more, if this is the type of music you want, let me know I can post some more.

    :)

Hey thanks everyone.. I definitely want more... so continue to post if you have new suggestions :) I don't care about the genre, I'm actually just enjoying it and listening to the music , I'd prefer the upbeat... coz sometimes, the slow acoustic style or depressing can be depressing... thanks again...

    Kisses to evrybody! Mmmuuuaaahhhh!

I'd call it rock, but whateve ryou call it, I like it. Ill go through my playlist later and see if I can find you some more. If you want metal try something like All That Remains.

No specifics right now, but anything on the 'One-X' album by three days grace or 'Phobia' album by breaking benjamin is pretty good :)

    Glad I could help

Well, I'll have to think about this one... although I might suggest you stay away from Country music (which is what I'm currently writing) just because it often has all the elements that you Don't need right now. I'll try to add to the above growing list and hope that helps!

There's this new song called Serendipity, I don't know who sings it, my favorite line is

" I'm gonna miss you like a baby misses their blanket, but I'm moving on with my own life now"

How about "Cool" of Gwen Steffani
And "Makes me wonder" of Maroon 5
Oh, "Tainted love" of Marilyn Manson would be the best!
    Enjoy!

A cute little ditty that cuts to the chase and doen't mince words, is called "You're Breakin' My Heart" by Harry Nilsson.

The first line is: You're breakin' my heart, you're tearin" it apart, so ---- you.

    Great Thread!

You just have to check this out -

    Kiss This

She was a woman on a mission
Here to drown a man for leavin
So I set her up again to watch him drown

    She had just about succeeded
When that low down no goodcheater
Good for nothing came struttin' through the crowd

Oh he was layin' it on so thick
    He never missed a lick
    Professing his never ending love

Oh but I never will forget, when she stood up and said
Well I guess you think we're just goinna kiss and makeup don't ya
    (That's when she said)

Why don't you kiss... kiss this
And I don't mean on my rosy red lips
Me and You, oh we are through
And there's only one thing left for you to do
You just come on over here one last time
Pucker up and close your eyes, and kiss this... good bye

Well the next thing I recall
She had him back against the wall
Chewing him like a bulldog on a bone
She was putting him in his place
And I mean right up in his face
Draggin' him down a list of done me wrongs

It was just about now that the crowd gathered round
They came to watch him pay for his every sin
She called him everything under the sun
And when we thought that she was done
She ran back and she let him have it again

    She said... she said
Why don't you kiss... kiss this
And I don't mean on my rosy red lips
Me and You, oh we are through
And there's only one thing left for you to do
You just come on over here one last time
Pucker up and close your eyes, and kiss this... good bye

    Kiss this
And I don't mean on my rosy red lips
Me and You, oh we are through
And there's only one thing left for you to do
You just come on over here one last time
Pucker up and close your eyes, and kiss this... good bye

Listening to music can be healthy!!

But the most Healthy thing to do is to say to yourself no one controls what I think or what I do I am my own person!!

This is hard to understand but if a girlfriend or boyfriend leaves your life it can be the hardest thing to ever get over.

It should not be the hardest thing.

Go down to the cemetery tomorrow and have a look at all the graves!! There are dead people there. Life Ends for everyone. Don't ever waste your time on someone who leaves no matter if you made a mistake or not. Those people who are not alive look at them I bet they would love too swap there life for yours.

If you ever could look back on your life when you ar about to die you might say I regret and hate her breaking up with me my life could have been different. Or else you look back and say Jeez I stuffed that but I did not klose any time on this earth I pushed on and kept my life ticking cause when its done its done.

This can be hard to uinderstand and I know its tough and you say but my life is over well its not your still here and you will be tomorrow. Dead people won't be. Just do your best and hope for it . Good luck. Sorry if this sound a bit down but it is the honet truth when your time is up you will regret ever missing a second of your life and you will tell yourself I wish I didn't waste those 3 months moaning I should have been living my life to the full...
