You are correct, it can come back together at some point. In my case it would be difficult because she has been with another guy, and it would take A LOT of forgiveness to get past that. As I go about dating, I meet a lot of interesting women, and sooner or later, one of them will be "THE ONE". My advice is to keep moving forward, if the past wants to catch up with you, it will. The same thing happened to me, I ended it with the ex, he moved on right away. I didn't sleep for months--still don't sleep well. I am so sore--whole body. I bugged the heck out of him but of course he ignored me. I got fat, don't look like I did at all. I have sabotogized nyself and fearful I am going to die because of my stupidity.
