If you're demisexual, and have found other men that are demisexual, why is it so hard to believe that he is, too? Sure, it's not common, but clearly it can be true.

If his words match his behavior, then believe him. If his words do not match his behavior, then don't believe him. You're never going to be able to read his mind - all you can do is listen to him, watch his actions, and decide whether you trust him.

Either you believe him or not.
