This is the reason I was saying they lose their ability to act and think rationally, but huno kind of denied it. :p

    Don't know what to believe.

Nahh, I wouldn't. He's too nice. :) Better save him from that girl who wants to do that to him. :p If he doesn't deserve it, of course.

a woman who believes we men actually have the capacity to act and think rationally?. I'm flattered. =) have to print this out and save it for my wife...

uh... I'm just another person piling on what mostly been said... usually staring is likely attraction of some sort. Yes, it can be otherwise... do I stare at women I don't find attractive. Not so much... I mean if you are spilling out of an fluorescent orange tube top that is four sizes too small, especially below the top, well there might be a cant-look-away-from-the-train-wreck response...

but usually if I don't find the woman attractive, there isn't wasted drool seeping from the mouth... unless she's carrying beer I s'pose. =)

    Are you kidding?

    ...

Actually, when I think about it, you might be right! But, I do hope, that you guys can act and think rationally, too.

    Wishful thinking, I guess.

Oh I guess I'm not saying we can't think and act decently... maybe it just seems my wife always catches me in that one moment of stupidity every time...

You know, the who-wouldnt-want-to-build-a-trebuchet-and-see-how-far-the-bowling-ball-could-be-flung kind of stuff. Shell always show up right as I'm preparing to aim... metaphorically speaking.

I guess its why she upped my life insurance and we have an umbrella liability policy...

My grandmother used to say "men are so stupid"... when we were in the room... we're in the room nana...

    OK. Rambling.

Should guys be more respectful. Sure. And I agree, if you are going to hold that gaze you might as well look her in the eyes when she sees you instead of darting away...

Guys are visual and generally stupid about it.

Ignore the ones that don't smile, they are lusting, or wishing. Either way not worth the time. Ignore the old guys that stare, because we all know what's on our mind. :) :D

Ah, I just read through this thread... woh337, you're too much! And yes, you may call me the sh!t. :) But remember to always include the "the."

Anyway, when this girl first asked to do it, I said no, but later I agreed... couldn't do it because my eye kept twitching. What she actually wanted was to do that thing where you girls use the pencil on the INSIDE of your eyelid! I can't believe you girls do that to yourselves!!

She said it would make my eyes look bigger... I don't know how that works but she says it has to do with my eyelashes, because they're long, and so putting that black pencil to the inside of my eyelids is supposed to make them look bigger... somehow.

I don't know... but I'm disturbed that you girls go through that... :o

"Da" sh!t? Hmm... no, you're not quite cool enough for "da." You're "the" sh!t. Not "da" sh!t. You'll have to work a little harder if you want to be that cool. :D

He's checking you out. If you are interested walk up to him and say, " Are you always this shy? You've been checking me out for a half an hour. Why haven't you bought me a drink?" Sports analogy----the ball is in his court. His response will tell you a lot.

To answer your second part, initially I think women are the most beautiful art we guys have been given. Am I thinking "naughty" thoughts? Mostly not. Am I going to hit on you? Maybe, but probably not. If I don't , should you hit on me. Please! Guys are shy too.

We a guy stares at a girl its because he has feelings for her, and he's probably to shy to make a move. This is exactly how I am, sometimes

I am glad to hear those answers, seems like we girls do need ot make a move sometimes!

Depends... I think guys are intimidated by me, and there is no way to save them! If they are shy, then they are shy. No matter how many moves U make, they stay the same!!

    A question for guys:

Why do you stare at some other girl when for instance, you're walking hand in hand with your girlfriend, or you're sitting next to her?

I'm not Miss Universe or anything similar :p, but this happens to me so often and I'm sure it happens to other girls, too. I personnally can't believe these guys! I'm aware this is not cheating and it's not as bad as cheating, but still, it's BAD.

Thank you all :)... for answering... soon.

Hahaha... yeah I've been caught doing this... and I AM committed to just one girl, but I can't help myself. I like to look. Observe. I'm voyeuristic.

It's like when you buy a nice sweater. It's good, yeah, didn't cost you much--you probably got it on sale--but it's comfortable.

But then you see another girl with a different sweater. There's nothing particularly better about it, but it's different enough that you wish you'd have gotten that one... kind of a "grass is always greener on the other side" situation.

I don't think all men are like this, but I can tell you that I am. :o
