I will say that eventually you learn that all you really have in this wide wide world is yourself, and if you don't learn to live without needing someone else, you are bound for misery. It doesn't mean that you have to stay alone, just know how. You also can't let pain turn you bitter. Quite a delicate balancing act and it can take a lifetime.

Well that just sounds... Sad. Why is life worth living for again?

    Listen Up.

And try to learn, by actually thinking.

Don't dare treat your life as a soul tied with a thread to your body, that you can cut, and let it go, any time things do not go your own way.

It seems to me like you have plenty of off time in your hands, so I suggest that you turn off the computer, walk out of your house, and find new friends, and don't tell me that you already have friends because real friends will get you going off this torture, create your own happiness, do not wait for no one to give it to you, the best thing you can do is let go of them and give them your best wishes.

If there is something she taught you, is that you are better when you are surrounded by positive people. So use that thread and breakthrough your isolation.

    With all my respect.

I do have extremely good friends. They are at other universities, however, and very far away. My roommate is also a very good friend- but his first girlfriend cheated on him with three other guys. He very much loved her and now he can't look at a girl and see anything there other than for sex. He's an incredibly nice person, but all his trust in women and relationships is gone. So he isn't much help with me there. I'm not really close to many other people here except a few~ and they have always been single. They've tried to distract me but gaming all the time ain't really my thing. I've just been reading a lot... Read 200 pages of my ECE textbook... at least I know how to optimize digital circuits really well now... I'm just going to focus on school and not give a about other aspects of life. Because all that will happen is that I'll get hurt some way or another.

I cried then put the blade away. So no more worries there. Thank you for caring though.

Good! Don't give up on your life, or all the people who tried to help you on this website will be mad.

It is impossible to find happiness when you act like those bad people who ditched you coldly. I cry, laugh, get mad, lose my tamper, I forgive then forget. For all those people, who ever hated me, hit me, annoyed me, or made fun of me, can not just get the best of me. I am, what I want to be; even though life gets harder, I am still happy because I don't let them make me change my ways with people, which will change ME too. I will always respect people no matter how some of them act. You just can't label all people as BAD, just because one girl is not on the right track of life.

Tell your friend that he was doing great with that girl, and for that reason, it is not him who needs to change his behavior, but her.
I hope your friend gets better soon, as well as you. :)
