Some men don't like to work at relationships or put forth an effort. Then when they get in a relationship they work on starting another relationship.

That's not good enough for a healthy relationship, and since you don't have one you shouldn't just settle for this kind of crap. Get rid of him, and his phone. It will hurt for a while but you will heal from it and have a chance to do better.

No communications = No relationship. Just a miserable situation, so remove yourself from it.
