If you stop trying to get a girl friend, and be happy with friends at this stage, then you could be having fun, with many, while you await a true romance. You have to admit that you were wanting to be here priority now, knowing her work schedule.

What she told you would not disappoint me at all, because I would not have the high hopes you have that makes you single minded. Its just to soon my friend to be wooing her, before you get to know her. And way to soon to think of putting all your eggs in her basket.

I can only recommend you back off and keep other options open as it may not be working with this female, but as far as dating others casually, its wide open. I mean why would you limit yourself at this point in time?

I think the best romances start as just friends, and develop over time, naturally. Hard to start anything when it's a notion of more than friends for the very beginning. But you tried, it didn't work, no shame in that, but don't sulk about it. You do have a fun, happy life without her don't you?

Of course I do lol... I was just surprised she told me that after how she acts with me in person and her always telling me she misses me and like me a lot. But I understood her whole work situation. It just really sucks because this girl is really fun and really honest to be around so it kind of bummed me out when she just wanted to be friends. At least she was honest and straightforward about telling me compared to leaving me sitting and wondering why this girl hasn't called or texted me in a week or two.
