You I'm thinking if its anymore than that she would attempt more than that one weak text... I found out she hit a deer with her car and totaled it a couple days and was wondering if I should ask how she's doing but a friend said she seemed OK and she would tell me herself if she wanted me to know,right??

That's what I would think, and a simple text is to easy. If she had something important, she would have text it.

She is just casting a fishing line to see how much you will bite on it! Avoid it! I know because my ex is doing this to me now through her actions! She wants me to pay and get hurt like she did when I broke up with her the first 2 times...

Well my ex never wants me to "pay" for anything... I never did anything wrong and never hurt her or broke up with her at any point.

Bottom line is you want to rekindle the relationship. You already let her know your feelings. If she felt the same way, she would make a more explicit and obvious move to repair the relationship and not a simple text.

You don't need to fall into these emotional traps (i.e. small texts here and there). Just keep doing your own thing and making yourself a better person.
