Seems pretty clear that she doesn't want you back. She's just feeling guilty and is answering to her conscience. That's her problem.

As for you, this is definitely opening a can of worms. I hope you have a way to contain the worms. Contacting her can easily rebuild your false hope if you still have feelings for her. The result would be resetting much of the progress you've made over the past 5 months. Are you prepared for that?

Yeah sure, contact her after 5 months of healing so you can go back to the way you were at the very beginning, depressed and unhappy.

Would her "apology" really make you feel better? It accomplishes nothing, you already know that she's "sorry." leave her out of your life where she belongs and do not in any way respond.

No you shouldn't meet, simply say apology accepted and go about your life. If that doesn't ease her conscience and satisfy her amends, so be it! Its your own healing that more important, to you than her amends. That simple. Or ignore her, its up to you, but face to face emotional bull crap, will make her feel better, and not you.

She probably wants to see how "bad" you are doing, it's an ego thing.
