I'd would worry about this guy too much. Work on yourself might be the highest priority right now.

I like it when more info comes in. I can now see where he would be a little irratable lately as a change in the household finances has probably magnified everything else out of proportion, and since you haven't mentioned children I'll bet all your attention is on him now. Just asking what do you do with your days now since you became unemployed and how long has it been since you last worked?

I lost my job around the end of last month. Since then I've had 3 job interviews but no luck in actually getting a job. He said "dont worry about the money, just wait you'll find a job" we don't pay actual rent at our apartment nor do we pay anything except 50 dollars a month for electricity. I've been trying to find a bartending job at the local pubs and restaurants (I've had my bartending certificate since April of this year) but have not had luck as of yet. He said he was paying for the concert and stuff the tickets are only 25 dollars. Since I've been unemployed I've been searching for a job and cleaning the house, making supper and doing other household things and helping out with his parents. Eveything seems to have cooled down significantly and he's been acting more like himself.

Cool, good to hear. I've been unemployed for a couple of streches (damn you dot-com bust!) and it sucks. You're lucky that your expenses are low. Keep at it, make an effort every day. I'm also in the Maritimes (Freddy Beach;)) and our market isn't as easy to find employment. I use to know most of the bartenders at the Citadel in HFX. Good luck!
