I think you've probably seen too many romantic movies. Nicholas Sparks perhaps? :) Bring on the world and I'll wait forever and it will end up all right? It doesn't actually work that way and you'll hurt yourself in the end.

I already talked about the giving up bit, and it being different than letting someone go, but obviously that didn't sink in.

In any case I do hope it works out for you, but that if she doesn't come around, I hope you eventually realize what everyone has said.

I was in the same situation when I was in 10th grade, I tried to get with the same girl for three years. I did the same thing you did, tried EVERYTHING and tried to find ways to get her to love me. This is a waste of time.

Trust me. Once a woman puts you in the friend zone, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get out of it. Your only hope is to try and act like a hard azz or be a prick to her, because you said that she is in a "phase" and she won't ever go for you as the nice guy. Nice guys finish last in HS, sorry.

I guess I am way to nice to her... I think that if I'm nice to her, and I be her friend right now that she will eventually like me... I waited 8 months why not wait 8 more... and 8 more after that?

The fact is that statistically speaking, stories like yours don't usually have a happy ending. If you want to set yourself up for loss, well, that's your choice, but if you want the truth, then listen to us.

Dude seriously... have you tried telling her that you like her? That seems to be a better way of getting her IF she's interested, which she doesn't seem to be. Well, I was just having dinner with a few girlfriends last night. While discussing how we treat boys that we are not interested, one of them said this

"Well, i like keeping them around, it makes me feel good. I mean they know they can't get me, but they stay anyways. it makes me feel really good that they want me, even though i don't want them"

On top of that, she'll do confusing things like, clinging her arms on the guy, giving them hugs, and etc etc.

In other words, she enjoy toying with other people's feeling LOL, I hope your girl isn't doing that to you.
