I honestly don't think you are the one that doesn't get it. If someone isn't talking to you, that's a great sign that he doesn't like you. MOVE ON!

If you really mattered to him, you'd know & not have to ask strangers if he did. The real issue is not whether he cares or not (he doesn't), but why you would let yourself be treated this way by someone that's a potential partner. This is when you are most likely to see his "best" behavior towards you & so far, it sucks.

Not telling you himself he couldn't talk is rude. It only takes a minute to say he couldn't talk right then & let you know when he could call you back. Not calling to see how you are doing is indicative that it doesn't matter to him. Not making plans to see you or spend time with you means he feels he has better things to do. He may like you as an acquaintance, but that's not even friendly behavior much less partnership actions.

So why would you want to be treated so disrespectfully, with so little concern for your wellbeing? That's the real issue not what he feels or doesn't feel for you, his actions really tell you all you need to know to see this guy at least at this point in time is a really bad bet for you to be involved with. If you train him to treat you badly & that's OK with you, the only thing that's bound to happen is you will get treated worse as time goes by, certainly not better.

I'm sorry you are hurting over this but this pain is nothing compared to being with someone that treats you badly repeatedly & gets away with it. Treat yourself better & find someone that will treasure you the way you obviously will them.

Don't fall into the obsession trap with someone not worthy of you spending a minute of your precious life worrying about, please, for your own good.
