Throw your preconceived conditions of what you always thought and accept him for who he is. Then you can realize if you are meant to be. With the type of preconceived ideas you have you want him to live up to an imagine you have set in your mind.
So do you think it's possible to make it work and that it's meant to be as long as you have two people in the relationship who want it to work?
Both of you may want a lot, but if there is no compatibilty there or the same feeling of love for each other then something is wrong or not right. People do fall out of love just like we fall in love, you can love someone but not be in love with that person
Today is the 3rd day that my boyfriend and I have been apart in trying to give each other space and it's really helped me to clear my head... I feel like the pressures are gone, the stress is slowly fading and I still feel the same about him and am slowly but surely feeling the way that I used to about him when we first started dating... I'm realizing that he IS the one that I want to be with, I'm just not ready to FULLY give all of ME to him yet... basically I'm not ready for marriage like I thought I was, but I want to prepare myself in order to be ABLE to give myself to him in the fullest. Does this sound like a normal thing?
As time goes on you will get it all figured out, and it will either happen or it won't, and if it doesn't it was never meant to be
