His ex gfs all hate me because I won't let them call and ask him for money. They think I stole him away from them. I do need to stop worrying about him and focus on myself. Maybe that'll push him away and he will find someone else, I don't know. Thanks everyone!

I really wouldn't care what those girls think of you.. let those vultures know that they can have him back, depression, insecurity, money and all. Maybe this will get him to take a better look at his life and work on himself.

It's not important what they think of you, - what's important is how you feel about yourself and what you want back in your life, like peace of mind, contentment, and a goal toward happiness.

So, now make a list of do's and don'ts based on your current experience and just watch how easy it will be to find YOURSELF again.

I don't think I've lost myself, which is probably why he thinks I'm emotionally disconnected.

It is still good advice, married or single. Good advice is also optional. We all do as we choose. Choose for yourself not to read or use. Still good advice. By the way--We are off the topic with both your comment & my rebuttle?

I think you should let him know that he makes you happy, and he means a lot to you, and all you want is for him to be happy. Let him know that life is to short to care what others think. Maybe counseling IS the way to go... first just him, then maybe him and his family, then maybe him and you. I defently agree that if your not happy with yourself, its hard to be happy in general... and I think that you and your positive attitude is going to help him change for the better :)

I've told him that I just want him to be happy. I've told him I'm happy with him.

I let him have it Sunday night. He got upset over something his stupid sister said. This girl is dumb as a rock (can't cut bread or put a plate of food in a to go box with out help, seriously) and so she made a comment and he got upset by it. I just started yelling at him, told him he needed to get counseling to deal with his issues because I was tired of dealing with him getting upset because his sister is stupid.

He stopped talking to me for awhile, and then came to grips with the fact that he needs to do something, like counseling.
