Yes, I very well could be taking it out of context. I mean, it's all about perspective as everyone has there own. Could it be this girl took it the way I took it, and perhaps this is why she isn't here? It's a possibility. I also think he should go no contact, so that's one thing we agree on. :)

That's also the reason many have a hard time letting go, and moving on. The difference, advance notice, and shock! Once we cope with the shock, what power the dumper had, is gone.
