Hi I am MB BS doctor in India recently engaged to PhD chemical engineer in usa, he belongs to a middle class family. He says like after 5 yr of job we will come back to India. I am scared of financial crises after coming to India because I got many marriage proposal from doctor guy having nursing home in Delhi.

I don't know why I rejected them but, now I think I did wrong, I should have accepted his proposal at least I would have been financially secure.

Did do right, or wrong, accepting his proposal? He is a nice guy.

As you all will notice the original TWO posts were merged, and edited.

As To whether you have done the right thing or not, it depends on what's more important to you. Financial security, after going back to India, with the nice guy, or accepting the proposal of someone already established in India already.

I think you rejected the proposals from India already because you liked the other guy better, and I think you stick to the decision you have made. Who knows, he may return to India and do even better than the other guy.

Comes down to the one you rather be with. I bet your family has a preference, but will it fit you for the long run??
