Here is an outstanding Chocolate Cake (sort of) recipe
Chocolate Carmel Toffee Trifle
1 to 2 Chocolate cakes prepared per bpx directions for 9X13 pan. Quantity of cake depends on the size of your trifle dish
2 packages instant chocolate pudding made per box instructions
2 container of cool whip topping defrosted
1 jar of carmel sauce
1 package of toffee pieces or 3 toffee candy bars broken into small pieces
Let the cake cool then cut into squares. Layer the bottom of your trifle dish with cake, then spoon in 1/4 of the pudding, drizzle with carmel sauce and 1/4 of the toffee pieces, then 1/2 of 1 container of coolwhip. Start the layering again. End the trifle with the coolwhip. I then sprinkle the coolwhip with toffee pieces, or place larger pieces of a toffee bar around for decoration.
A great adult variation... add a small drizzle of Amaretto or coffee flavored laquior to each layer.
I use all dark chocolate (pudding and cake)
When I make this, there is no leftovers!
Here's an idea for a cake,
Not chocolate though.(you could always substitute caramel with choco)
Make a butter cake dough
Divide it into two
With one half add caremelled sugar
Pour the plain butter dough into a baking tray
Next pour the caremel dough on top(do not mix)
Bake
It comes out nicely marbled
Beautiful and tasty!
Sorry CBW, no pics yet.

Tequila Christmas Cake with Chocolate Chips
1-cup water
1-tsp. baking soda
1-cup sugar
1-tsp. salt
1-cup of brown sugar
Lemon juice
4 large eggs
Nuts
1 bottle tequila
2-cups dried fruit
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Sample the tequila to check quality. (I already sampled it... several times to check the quality.)
Take a large bowl, check the tequila again. To be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink.
Repeat.
Turn on the electric mixer.
Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.
Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again.
At this point its best o make sure the tequila is still OK. Try another cup... just in case.
Turn off the mixerer thingy.
Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the dried fruit.
Pick the frigging fruit up off the floor.
See if you can get the chocolate chips in there now.
Mix on the turner.
If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry it loose with a drewscriver.
Sample the tequila to check for tonsisticity.
Next, sift two cups of salt. Or something.
Check the tequila.
Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts.
Add one table.
Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find.
Greash the oven.
Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over.
Don't forget to beat off the turner.
Finally, throw the bowl through the window.
Finish the tequila and wipe counter with the cat.
Couldn't find the Better Than Sex Cake recipe. Here's a substitute:
CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE! BUNDT CAKE
1 box Devil's Food cake mis
1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding
1 c. sour cream
4 eggs
1/2 c. salad oil
3/4 c. water
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Mix all ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Cool and remove from pan. No icing is necessary.
Come on there has to be some more out there just dying to share that dream chocolate cake with us...
I almost forgot Death by Chocolate
(I've only had it once)
1 (19.8 oz.) box fudge brownie mix
1/4 to 1/2 c. Coffee Liqueur
3 (3.5 oz.) pkgs. Instant chocolate mousse
8 (1.4 oz.) chocolate covered toffee candy bars (like Skor or Heath bars)
1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven according to brownie package directions. Bake brownies according to package directions; let cool. Prick holes in the top of the brownies with a fork and pour the coffee liqueur over brownies; set aside.
Prepare chocolate mousse according to package directions. Break candy bars into small pieces in food processor or by gently tapping the wrapped bars with a hammer. Break up 1/2 the brownies into small pieces and place in the bottom of a large glass bowl. Cover with 1/2 the mousse, then 1/2 the candy, and then 1/2 the whipped topping. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
Note: Instead of the coffee liqueur, substitute a mixture of 1 teaspoon sugar and 4 tablespoons black coffee. Or just leave out the coffee flavoring entirely. This is absolutely delicious and it is as it says Death By Chocolate.
KILLER CHOCOLATE SAUCE:
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2/3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sugar
7 tbsp. corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt the butter and chocolate in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add boiling water and stir well. Mix in the sugar and corn syrup, until sauce is smooth. Boil the sauce, without stirring for 10 minutes; remove from heat; cool 20 minutes, then add the vanilla. Spoon the sauce over the Death by Chocolate Cake.
