    I'm among the many who bought at the wrong time.I purchased a apartment conversion to condo lived in and still do paid mort and condo assesments all on time have major mildew problems due to leaks in roof and walls.hoa has no money to repair them as most condo owners have abandoned their units .im not paying the mortgage any longer cause bank not interested in my problem and won't do anything to assist me. I still have checking acct at said bank,can they take money from acct and apply to mort with out my permission?? Need to know as my deposits are automatic thanks for any help

    Yes, in MOST cases the same Bank can take money from one account to pay another.

    I've seen money taken from checking accounts to pay charge accounts.

    Would I move the direct deposit account?

    Yes.
