The measurement for a toilet is 12 inches out from the wall to the center of the closet flange. With a center drain the shower base should rough at 18" to center out from each wall if it's in a corner or 18" off the wall if not. Best policy is to set the base where you want and mark the center of the drain. Good luck, Tom
