I would go to a place like Ebay, and type in "tuner card" You will find what you are looking for. You don't have to buy, you will know what's available.
You need a video capture card. ATI makes some pretty affordable ones that do a decent job. There are others out there but I've used ATI a lot and have generally been very pleased with the results. If you purchase one new you should get the software you need to do what you want.
ATI is good, Go to place like eBay, and type ""ati tuner card"
Tuner card will allow more virsatility.
I have had no problem with the Dazzle,as it converts analog from your VCR and changes it to a digital format yor computer knows.
Dazzle seems worth checking out, Pricegrabber.com list $70-$140. Don't know if tuner is important, Not sure if dazzle has tuner.
Is handy for receiving without external tuner.
