Who sings this song and what is the title?
I've heard this country song and unfortunately I can't remember many of the lyrics. It seems like it's a groom singing to his bride and the only part I remember is... "with flowers in your hair". The song is relatively current (past 2 yrs) and is still being played on some country radio stations.

I found this... Is it right?

Scott McKenzie lyrics - San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair)

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers in their hair

All across the nation such a strange vibration
    People in motion
There's a whole generation with a new explanation
People in motion people in motion

For those who come to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair
If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

If you come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there

I don't think it's right though cause it's an old song, about 35 years old
I'm trying to see if maybe there was a remake of it because the line "Gentle people with flowers in their hair" matches what you're looking for.

K, here, Jimmy LaFave redoes it but I can't find a video for it. But I have found enough evidence that his genre is called roots rock and he reinvents the old hippie anthem by Scott McKenzie.
    Update:
You can go here to listen to a sample of it Amazon.com: Texoma: Music: Jimmy LaFave

Hey my friend, try any lyrics website or search "lyrics" on any engine as well as just searching the specific lyrics themselves in the engine or on something like limewire as well. Many results that match will come up with those lyrics but it helps you get closer to finding the artist and song name. Many other people have the same problem and will often POST a song under the name of the chorus or most popular line or repeated line in the song ex: Metallica's "Enter Sandman" can be found by searching the words "exit light enter night take my hand" on any search or download engine - hope it helps - BMAC

Blake Shelton - Underneath the same moon. :) I really like this song.

    Shadows of the night
    Moving on the ground
    Like silent clouds
    They follow me around
    As I wander the dark
    Through the midnight mist
    Remembering our last kiss
    Do you know how much
    You're missed

    Chrous:
Tonight I stand in this lonely place
    I search the heavens
    For some saving grace
And I cry, dying without you
    I know you're somewhere
    Looking up there too
    Right now that's all
    Two distant hearts can do
    Oh-ooh, at least were underneath
    Underneath the same moon

    Picturing your face
    Flowers in your hair
    Like you always wear
Oh I can see you there
    Longing to be touched
    But you're out of reach
    Oh hold on please
    Won't you wait for me

    Repeat Chours

    La la la
    La la la
    La la la
    Oh-ooh At least were underneath
    Underneath the same moon

    Shadows of the night
    Moving all around
    Moving on the ground
    They follow me around

Below the song download and lyrics

    http://www.music-free-download.net/mp3/M-S-G-/Download_Captian-Nemo_mp3_017819.html

    Shadows fallin' on my face
Every night she takes her place
    Oh! How I wonder
The spell she puts me under
Only neonlight, takes the place of daylight
How broken hearted, when day and night are parted.
    She's not responsible
    Can't fight against his will
Under his influence No hope far innocence
We all run and hide from the Shadow of the night [2x]
    With hopeless hands I pray
For the safety of the day
And if our world should depart
Go with comfort in your heart

    Shadow Shadow of the night
    Shadow of the night
    Under the cloud of darkness
    Where only money matters
    The knives are out tonight

White powder glistens But who's going to ask for more
When someone falls and hits the floor?

I feel the yearning of the early morning
We all run and hide from the Shadow of the night [2x]
    With hopeless hands I pray
For the safety of the day
And if our world should depart
Go with comfort in your heart

    Shadow Shadow of the night
    Shadow of the night
As I wake to meet the dawn
    Communication has begun
Oh! How I wonder, and is it any wonder
    When the neon light

    Takes the place of daylight
    Too late for miracles
    Just hope for common sense
We all run and hide from the Shadow of the night [2x]
    With hopeless hands I pray
For the safety of the day
And if our world should depart
Go with comfort in your heart
Shadow Shadow of the night Shadow of the night
