    Dryer without heat
I have a Kenmore dryer, which I used yesterday to do some laundry, and it worked fine. This morning I wake up to finish the laundry. And the dryer is not heating up at all. It turns on and spins the clothes, but its been on for over an hour and everything inside is cold and wet. The model # is 86984810 and the serial # is 69848. Any help is appreciated!

Check your vent trap and all the tubing to outdoors. If it is restricted your dryer will not heat. If that is OK you need to check the element and the thermal limits

Thank you for your advice. I will check these things, but what should I be looking for with the element and thermal limit?

You will need a meter and disconnect 1 lead off each and you should have continuity will you check across the 2 terminals on each part
