Not much information to go on here, but based on what you said, I'd say drop them both. It takes 2 to tango, if your boyfriend didn't want to get involved with your friend it would never happen, also, your best friend isn't a true friend if they are trying to come between you and your boyfriend. You could do without either of them in your life.

Yeah, agreeing with the above. If your boyfriend is responding to your friends advances then dump him, he doesn't respect you. And if this friend is hitting on your boyfriend they aren't very much of a friend.
