Me and my husband work he makes about $11 hr weekly and I make $7 hr bi weekly and I every time he gets a pay check we don't have money left for the week. Yes we have rent & bills but it seems like money goes by fast... I have a savings acct. and I only have $5 in it. Why can I have more than that. At least $100 so when we have rainy days we can always rely on our savings although I feel like were GINX. Crazy but true! Like my mom will say: " Money for you goes by like salt, it dissapears" What can I possibly do to be able to save?! :( :confused:

Get on a written budget... and live by it... reduce expenses... get rid of things you don't need like a cell phone... change your lifestyle... don't eat out.. . Reduce or stop spending in the entertainment area... look for free stuff to do.. rent movies from library etc..

Get extra jobs, work more hours... you need an emergency fund... $500-1000... for emergencies... and stop using credit if you still are now.
