How to find out how old are appliances?
Hello I have serial number and model number and I was wondering how can I do a search to see how old are appliances, like washer, dryers, refrigerators, etc? If anyone know how you go about doing that please let me know. Thanks in advance! :)

Different companies have different methods of listing the manufacture date. Some companies use the first four numbers of the serial number to show the week and year of manufacture, such as 2507 would indicate the 25 week of 2007, others use a letter and the first two numbers such as 3 07 would indicate March 07. Others don, not have a easy readable way but they do publish info for their dealers.

Why not just call the company that made the product, if they are still around.
