    Pre-Labor pains
I live about 45 minutes (good timing) from my hospital. My husband works 12 hours a day 7 days a week. I am currently 7.5 months pregnant & was wondering what to do if I were to go in labor???? Do I call a ambulance to take me to MY hospital? Do I get them to take me to any hospital? Do I drive myself? Do I call my husband & wait 30 minutes (good timing) for him to come home? So confused.........

Whatever you do DO NOT drive yourself!! This could cause you to get in an accident or something. I think that you generally can tell with enough time that you are going into labor, but it generally depends on the circumstances of the time you start labor, if your husband can't make it enough resonable time, I would go the ambulance route.

    Myth
Just a note to newlablover very good answer. First time babies usually take longer to deliver than the second and so forth. Chances are you'll get to the hospital and have to wait hours until you dilate fully.
