Does anyone remember a 1976-85 sitcom called Alice? It starred Linda Lavin as a single mom working at Mel's Diner in Phoenix. A great show. Classic TV reruns are harder to find in Canada than in the USA.

Yeah, I remember it, what would you like to know about it?
"Well.... Kiss my Grit"
I do indeed remember Alice.
And I'm also Canadian.
Thanks for replying so fast. I wondered if anyone knows if reruns can be seen anywhere and if full season dvds will be released anytime soon. So far only a six episode best of disc has been released nearly a year ago.
There was also a spin-off to that show called "Floes Yellow Rose" that followed the character Flo after she leaves and moves to Texas to open her own restaurant I believe. Definitely not as good a show.
My girlfriend says it is on ION, on Direct TV, Weekdays, Evenings, 7:30 PM Monday through Friday. Eastern Time.
Yes, it is on the ION network, Monday-Friday. 6:30 here, Central Time. Still a great show. Last night was the episode were Flo, Vera, and Alice bought Mel's old VW Beetle for $300.00 and it did not run. Remember when Mel got in the car and Vera was cracking the sunroof on Mel, so that he would give them the pink slip for the car? Still funny.
Yes, my daughter and I watch it just about every night. It comes on ion television which is channel sixteen for us. I love that show. Also you can go to in2tv and see if you can watch it on the net.
Here you go, looks like one season only:
