I heard it this morning on the news and got to thinking, what would happen if that were me and I started crying in jail?? The guard would laugh and beat my azz that's what would happen. But I ain't got no money, she does so she goes home for a few days and serves her sentence. Actually this is disgusting.
Everyone enjoys speciαl treαtment--- if this wαs demi moore or george clooney i don't think we'd be complαning, celebrities get speciαl treαtment.. even the ones with the not-so-greαt reputαtions..
"But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet, tread softly, for you tread on my dreams"- W.B. Yeats.
That is sadly all I can say.
Whoever let her out 40 days early should be required to serve the remainder of her sentence. If she drinks and drives again, she will, someone will have their butts sued and rightfully so.
Uh yes I would. Drunk driving without a license is reason for incarceration for anyone.Quote:

Hello:
The fact is, the jail is overcrowded - way overcrowded. Even a poor person of color would get the same treatment. Non violent prisoners are released early all the time.
Blame it on the drug war, and a willingness to incarcerate coupled with an unwillingness to build new jails or prisons.
Was there a deal?? I don't know. If you had millions and COULD make a deal, would you? Sure you would. So, what makes you think justice is free?

Really, is anyone surprised by this?
Didn't the two women who were on the show "Lost" who were arrested and convicted of DUIs serve less than 24 hours or something? If I remember correctly that had to do with overcrowding as well.
Paris has a another court hearing this morning 9 am that may put her back in jail.
Hello again:
The prosecutor must be running for something. He's just trying to cover his a$$. She ain't going back in the slam...

excon, you are most likely right, someone covering something they screwed up.
I hate people like her who have the fame and comfort to dedicate time to doing so much good in this world, but they just can't be assed.
Apparently the issue was NOT overcrowding. Her psychiatrist came to meet her in prison and told the warden that if she stays any longer she would have a mental breakdown. THAT is why she was released.
Paris' Medical Condition -- Mental, Not Physical - TMZ.com
I believe that the scientific term for her medical condition is "spoilt".
Hello again:
I heard that one too. However, that's much less cover your a$$able than overcrowding. Doesn't everybody come close to a mental breakdown?? Isn't that the idea of jail?
Frankly, I don't think we'll ever get the truth. Certainly, the overcrowding must be embarrassing to them, but the quality of their health care is even worse.

Because of the judges statements, she should be back in by this afternoon. And the office that sent her to "home Custody" may be found in contempt. Wouldn't that be ironic if he got sent to the same facility??
Don't do the crime if can't do the time.
3 days with out drugs or alcohol, that had to be rough too.
Yea! And I'd like to be sentenced to "stay home!" It's a friggin' palace! If that were a hotel, we'd have to shell out several hundred buck a night! Disgracefull!Quote:
