I am having a little problem understanding this. I think that I get most of it, but one part is still confusing. I have this problem, and I think that I am doing it right, but I am not sure, and I was hoping for a little guidance,

    The problem is f(x)=2x-3 and g(x)= x+1

    and now I have f(g(4)
I think that I get the f(x) where you plug in 4 but the g part is confusing me.

for f(g(4)) you put g in as x in f,

so you get f(g(x)) = 2(g(x))-3, you can expand this because you know g(x). Then you just do the same as before, plug in 4 for x
