I thought I had it, then I lost it... sorry.
I am not sure this is right. But here it goes. 3(x-6)+(2x-7)/4 Multiply the x-6 by the 3 you get 3x-18=(2x-7)/4, then mulitply both sides by 4 you get 12x-72=2x-7. then add both sides by 72 you get 12x=2x+65, then subtract both sides by 2x you get 10x=65, divide both sides by 10 x=6.5
