I love in Virginia. How long can someone stay in your house before they are considered living there?

Aren't they living there from day one? They move in, their belongings come with and there they are. Or am I being too simple in this?

Are they renting from you? Did you have an agreement or lease for them? What is the problem now, since your question was "put someone out"?
