    Ceiling fan remotes
We have 3 Hampton Bay fans in one area. I bought one remote and was told that I would need 3 receivers that's OK but I don't want 3 remotes and the hardware store does not sell just the receivers. Is there a place to order them on line .I went to Hampton Bay site no help... thanks

You will have to buy three remote/receiver kits.

Ceilingfan is correct as usual. The remotes aren't too bad at Home Depot, $29 for a no-name and $39 for Hampton. Chances are good that you will later need one of those two spares so keep them in a drawer.

Try this link. I have had great luck locating hard to find items. I don't like endorsing products or companies, I do like finding solutions,

eBay - hampton bay remote, Lamps, Lighting, Ceiling Fans, A V Accessories Cables items on eBay.com

Using 1 remote on multiple fans can be fun, when they go "out of sink" then it is not fun.
What happens 1 receiver may not get signal, and then you have to try to get signal to 1 fan shielding from the others, so it can catch up, to where they all work together again.
Your situation may allow you to have the three lights off one receiver.
