How to become a French citizen using new laws?
    Hello all,

I'm a computer programmer looking to become a French citizen.

I've read somewhere that there is a new French law that would allow engineers, doctors... to become French citizens a little easier. Can someone point me to this law? Thanks.

Also, I've been studying French for a year and change, I do not have French relatives, nor a French girlfriend to get married too. How would someone in my case go about getting a French citizenship status?

I've been researching this topic for a while now. I know that I could possibly find/and work a French company in the states then transfer to France. Is there a way to go about this directly?

According to my French visitor visa for 6 months, I am not allowed to work. Normally before my visa expires, I extend it by signing up to French Language classes(but not through a UNI).

This citizenship process is much harder then I thought.
    Thanks in advanced,
    Chris:confused:
