I need to get a home in denver colo, have poor credit and but I do have 4 years work history. I have lived in an apartment since moving out of my parents home over 10 years ago, I have excellent rental history and have no clue what to do. Please help!! :confused:

First you are not going to buy a home in one month if you found it today.
Getting a mortgage and closing will take time.

First I guess if you believe you just have to buy something, you visit several mortgage brokers and find one that will work with someone with a poor credit score.

Unless you have a BIG down payment, you are dead in the water. Bad credit, coupled with one month self employed is a no go. You need two years self employment. IF you had a big down, I GUARANTEE that some mortgage guy will do bad things to you. Your only hope is to find an unsophisticated owner with a free and clear property who will tote the note. Sorry for being blunt, but that's the way it is. Follow the advice given by Fr. Chuck.
